  • Marketing. Brand / Product Manager


The list below shows just a few gaming jobs in a wide variety of fields that you can go into, form education to marketing with gaming you can go into any field you want to. If you want to go into education you can have a large number of options in the field you want.

Seen by the graph above the gaming industry is only expanding and growing and getting a job in the gaming industry is a good idea because the market is only expanding and can only get higher and jobs will open in the industry.

  1. How can IT be considered a gaming job? Yes, there's I.T. departments in gaming companies, but there are also I.T. departments in insurance companies that do almost the exact same thing.

  2. Although there might be a plentiful of different jobs in the gaming industry, most are that are art based are extremely competitive to get into because of the high demand of high quality gaming. And most of the artist work with plenty of people, large companies having at least a hundred of artists working on one game.

  5. While working as a game dev would be fun, I think it is more stable income wise to work in the IT or computer science field as game devs make income based on their success of the games they create. Also, IT is more of a general technical support field, it is not really a gaming job.

  8. The gaming industry has been blowing up in every way for years. Even the more practical jobs listed above are not the only occupations to make livings in gaming careers. Esports and competitive gaming has gotten enough support from major sponsors for gamers to make enough money for just playing a game at tournaments.
